When you arrive, please call the Beltone location or knock on the door. A Beltone representative will greet you and administer a temperature check. If your temperature is below 100.4° F, you will be invited inside to discuss your needs. Visitors will be admitted one at a time.

1. All surfaces are disinfected before and after ever patient enters a Beltone hearing center.

2. Hand sanitizer is applied to hearing care practitioners and patients upon entering the office.

3. One garbage can per office is dedicated to the disposal of anything a visitor has brought in and needs to throw away.

4. All hearing care practitioners put on a fresh pair of disposable gloves before they:

• Perform otoscopic evaluations (looking in ears)
• Take a patient’s ear impressions
• Place headphones or earbuds on a patient during a hearing test

All gloves are properly disposed of after each use.

5. All headphones, response buttons, and bone oscillators are disinfected after each use.

6. All hearing aids are sanitized before being used for a demonstration.

7. All hearing aids are affixed with brand-new tips for every new patient to use.

8. If paperwork is signed, the patient is given a new pen to use and is instructed to keep it.

9. After a visitor has been dismissed from the office, all surfaces (chairs, desks, Earigators, booths, otoscopes, handles, etc.) are wiped down and disinfected.
